Pirate Pumpkins sing Fire Marengo

Fire Marengo is an old cotton screwing worksong. The “Marengo” was a machine that compresses cotton into a ship’s hold, and had to be turned by hand by several sailors. It’s not hard to hear how this song would help you to do that.

This version of the song is performed by The Dreadnoughts, a Vancouver BC folk-punk band.

There are files available for both Jack'O'Lantern Jamboree pumpkin layout, or a Singing Pumpkins layout, depending on how you have your pumpkins positioned.
